What to create and why to create?

I have heard from credible people the need for humans to be creative. How it’s an energy that needs to be expressed and not doing so leads to manifestation of unnecessary trouble. Drama for example in ones life can be a product of not using energy elsewhere. Without a doubt personally I do gain happiness from writing a blog. Making a video. Performing on stage and narrating a story.

We create memories. Whether we want or not. So we are creating all the time. Either consciously or unconsciously. We can choose to create happy, beautiful and loving memories or create trouble and misery. We can create something that’s helpful, heartwarming and entertaining in a good way. Belief in ones ability to create, consistency and stimulating oneself in the right way can help in being constructively creative.

Right way of stimulating can be a book, a conversation, just sitting in silence, writing till something comes, going to a new place, trying something for the first time, music, dance, a walk etc. Ideas will come and they will keep getting better. Persistence is cultivated. Thus, creating something seems useful and satisfying.

Coming on to the question of what to create. I feel attraction, enjoyment and natural inclination might be the answer. Or if someone has a very specific idea, tingling for sometime. For me I love creating moments on the stage and in person with people. Thus, Impro theater/theater and other performance arts really appeal to me. Since, I also like to think, I enjoy writing as well. In these times of Covid, stage gigs have taken a hit and online media is only surging and seems the new normal. To adapt I’ll have to up my media game. For the love and need for creativity, I’ll soon start uploading some Audio, video content. Wish me luck! All the best to whoever is reading this as well.

Cheers!
